Thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a great stay of at least 2 nights. The breakfast was satisfactory at reasonable prices with decent food.

The location was particularly good for walking around an open - air museum. The staff were very attentive and caring day and night.

I recently stayed at Onsen Guesthouse Tent in Hakone for a few nights. The hostel had a boutique feel with high-quality facilities and spotless cleanliness. The two onsens were a great addition, and the little touches like shower gel and free tea & coffee were lovely. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the dining area had a charming ambience. The location, right next to Gora station, was convenient for exploring the area. The separate apartment we stayed in was brand new and filled with natural light. It had a terrific bathroom and kitchen, making it a delightful respite from hotel rooms.

A really really nice stay for one night. Particularly good location, beautiful and bright rooms with a great view and tatami mats and bathroom inside. Location near train station, stores and restaurants as well as the cable car and ropeway. Outstanding food in the in-house restaurant in the vicinity. Selection of tapas and pizza at the in-house bar.

Very hospitable staff, AMAZING views over the mountains, everything is fantastic. Glad I took apartment, it was bright and welcoming. They have hot beverages in the in-house bar.

We got great value for our money with lovely Japanese-style rooms and bedding, and the onsen experience was fantastic. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the cable car for the Hakone loop. The staff were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help us during a snowstorm, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

We definitely got great value for our money at this place - the room was comfortable and clean, and the futon was perfect for a good night's sleep. The location was super convenient, close to the railway station in Gora, giving us easy access to explore the area. The staff at Hakone Tent were incredibly friendly and treated us like old friends, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The location of this guesthouse is really convenient, as it is close to the train station. It's just a short walk from Gora train station, so it's easy to access and explore the Hakone area. The staff members are also very welcoming and friendly, making you feel at home during your stay.

The showers were not working during our stay, which was quite inconvenient. We were unable to use them, which was a disappointment.

Many things to mention - everything was perfectly clean, great food, incredibly beautiful views. The café served a wide array of meals for breakfast. We stayed in the triple room, it was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The staff was excellent, best, and everything was really good.

I appreciated the room; it was nice with mountain view, a big window plus tatami mats. The breakfast was satisfactory at reasonable prices and had plenty of food. Location: the hotel was just off which is hard to find in Japan.
